Can I get coverage from Medicare for my breast prosthesis and mastectomy bras?
Medicare, Medicaid and most other health insurance plans do cover one breast prosthesis every two years and two mastectomy bras every year. Since we are a DME provider for so many health insurance plans, we will be happy to assist you in the billing of these items. You will need a prescription from your doctor each time you want to get coverage thru your insurance company.
